| The engine sits on rubber mounts which were pre-attached to the gearbox. When in-place, the propshaft is
connected to the gearbox (having been previously attached to the diff) secured by three bolts.

The main wiring loom is connected to the starter motor and alternator. The steering column is also inserted,
we found that this was a bit different to the manual as the shaft went straight from the upper jointv down
to the rack attached to the front wheels (no supporting bracket on the chassis). Probably a SpeedSport
feature. |
