All comments and advice about the build of our Westfield Sports car is made totally without liability or warranty and we
strongly advise contacting Westfield Sports Cars limited in the first and every instance if you have a question about anything
to do with building a Westfield.
Firstly, start with a (fairly) empty garage.
Then add a truck full of parts
(modules 1, 2 & 3 of the Westfield 1800 SpeedSport)
Next get some strong guys to help you (thanks Stuart and Drew)
Unload carefully, Watch out Stu', mind yer ed !
Assemble the stands (note: get the nuts & bolts needed as they weren't supplied)
then place the chassis on top. Westfield pre-positioned a block of wood undernearth
the chassis at the back to prevent the fuel pipes from being crushed, just to balance
things up we secured a similar sized block on the other side.
Now we are ready to start
First thing is to get the additional tools we need and the copper slip grease.
Don't worry, I won't show you photo's of me shopping at Halfords and B & Q
